- Program & Project Management
- Create and manage the program/project timeline to help coordinate the implementation of new products and systems
- Dedicated management from program initiation to completion - "cradle to grave" implementation
- Complete program budget management with documented savings and full report to customer of experiential insights gained in the operation, offering the potential for even greater productivity gains
- Coordinate and provide program integration - "complete the circle" - involving facilities, direct labor (process) and indirect labor (material handling)
- Supplier coordination and timeline management to meet program initiatives
- Engineering Support
- Plant AutoCAD development and maintenance
- Workstation drawings created and maintained
- On-site support, initiative and participation
- Interaction and coordination with other program team members
- Storage analysis and layouts, including capacities and physical restrictions
- Workstation Optimization & Evaluation
- Evaluate individual workstations to optimize material delivery and part presentation to the operator
- Integrate systems and processes with production and automatic identification techniques.
- Provide ergonomic solutions for direct and indirect labor
- Work within the safety constraints of the customer
- Provide innovative recommendations to solve station and delivery congestion issues
- Facilities & Equipment Specifications & Management
- Develop equipment specifications involving delivery vehicles, lineside automation, dock equipment, materials display and presentation equipment
- Conduct equipment supplier audits to ensure that the proper processes are in place and are being maintained
- Conduct equipment reviews at the supplier to ensure adherence to specifications
- Develop and maintain equipment "punch lists" to track any possible open issues from initiation to resolution
- Product Launch Support
- Coordinate the installation of the equipment including throughput verification and plant concurrence
- Coordinate plant maintenance training
- Manage equipment suppliers to the Program/Project timeline
- Ensure adherence to the Project specifications
- Develop and maintain equipment "punch lists" to track any possible open issues from initiation to resolution
